The Parks & Community Services Department welcomes motivated leaders, civic organizations, schools, clubs, boy/girl scout troops, and interested citizens who wish to help clean, maintain, upgrade, and help to shape the future of the City's parks.
Additionally, we assist corporations and businesses looking for employee service projects. The scope of work varies and any size or age group can be accommodated. Tasks include anything that can be accomplished in a park such as painting, trash pickup, tree/brush trimming, river cleanup, and other labor-intensive tasks that may be unique to a particular site. We are also constantly seeking volunteer coaches to assist with sports programs.
