MLK Jr. Students get schooled on water
Mayor Garcia and Staff from the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant visited students at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School to discuss water usage in the community and to share an overview of the Plant. Students were surprised to learn about the processes involved in maintaining a safe and stable water supply and asked lots of great questions. The presentation was wrapped with an invitation for students to visit the Wastewater Treatment Plant for a tour during a field trip in the next school year.
