City Council Honors Local Businesses on #SmallBusinessSaturday

At last night’s City Council meeting, local businesses that highlight the best of Madera’s community spirit were celebrated for their contributions to the city’s economy and culture. The Council issued proclamations to five outstanding businesses in recognition of #SmallBusinessSaturday, a nationwide effort to support and promote small businesses during the holiday season and beyond.

The businesses honored included:

• Madera Cleaners & Laundry
• Plaza Flower Shop
• The Vineyard Restaurant
• Taco Express
• Casa de Tacos Neza

These businesses help bolster Madera’s local economy, offering products and services that enrich the community while creating jobs and fostering a strong sense of connection. The City Council encourages residents to continue supporting these small businesses, not just during the holiday season, but all year round.

“Supporting small businesses is a great way to support the local entrepreneurs who help make Madera a wonderful and inviting community,” said Madera City Manager, Arnoldo Rodriguez.
