- How Do I Start Neighborhood Watch in my Area?
It's simple, it's free, and it's effortless!
Step 1 - Call the City of Madera Community Outreach team: (559) 661-5111 or (559) 661-2853.
Step 2 - A meeting will be set up with you either in their office or in your preferred location.
Step 3 - The outreach team will invite your district Council member, law enforcement, and city department heads to talk about your neighborhood problems and how to address them.
Step 4- Complete 3 of your own Neighborhood Watch meetings and become a"Certified Neighborhood Watch" with the Madera Police Department.

Here you may download and print brochures to pass out to your neighbors in order to generate interest and begin establishing your own Neighborhood Watch Program.
