With sports like softball, soccer, football, and basketball, we have something to fit everyone’s schedule and activity level. Please note that the registration deadline to join one of our sports leagues is always one week before a league is set to begin. The purpose of the City of Madera Parks and Community Service’s youth sports programs is to guide each participant—boy or girl— through an organized program and to develop the fundamentals of each sport and promote team play through teaching, training, and sportsmanship. The goal is to encourage skill development and foster a positive attitude without overly emphasizing winning every game as a primary goal. Tiny Tikes is a series of co-ed sport specific programs geared towards enhancing basic motor skills through drills and game situations. Including programs like Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Football, Cheerleading, Golf, and Lacrosse, we are sure to have the perfect program for your Tiny Tike! Fee $55.00

T-ball is designed to be a fun sport where children are taught the fundamentals of throwing, hitting, and catching without the pressure of competition. Practices and games are held at Lions Town and Country Park baseball fields on Saturday mornings. Fee: $65.00

Want to stay active during the winter months without having to play outside in the cold? Join the City’s Youth Basketball League. Practices and games are held at the John W. Wells Youth Center Gymnasium. All games take place on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Fee: $65.00
